This heartwarming concert is the climax of the annual Norman Rockwell Holiday Weekend sponsored by The Stockbridge Chamber of Commerce. Set in the beautiful and historic First Congregational Church, we feature soprano guest artist Elaina Pullano with plenty of holiday standards from all of our choirs.

The Blafield Children's Chorus performs as the centerpiece to Family Day in the elegant Crane Room of the Berkshire Museum in downtown Pittsfield. This is one of the loveliest public spaces in the Berkshires with the backdrop of the Festival of Trees. Joe Rose will also lead our teenage choir, the Berkshire Singers, in selections of the season.

Join us at the St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in downtown Pittsfield where we will be joined by the Pittsfield High School Chorus, directed by Gaylan Palmer. St. Stephen’s has some of the best acoustics for a choral concert in Berkshire County and we will serve up traditional and modern holiday music. Berkshire Lyric dips back into our illustrious past for an afternoon of greatest hits from the English masters of Victorian Operetta. Enjoy lightly staged and costumed (but fully sung!) selections from The Pirates of Penzance, The Mikado, H.M.S. Pinafore and more. Following the performance,there will be refreshments and our annual Berkshire Lyric silent auction fundraiser.

Berkshire Lyric College Choral Fest III
St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Pittsfield
This third annual concert provides a showcase for college choirs from all over western Massachusetts. This free concert is high energy from start to finish and covers a wide range of choral music. Past concerts have included everything from madrigals, Charles Ives, Mozart, spirituals and the Beatles.
Now in its second decade, the Young Musician Scholarship Program awards scholarships to the top vocal and instrumental young talent, ages 13 to 21, from Berkshire County. Winners have gone on to study at prestigious national music schools. This year’s winners are presented along with our two choirs for young people. Admission is free.

Berkshire Lyric Chorus The Konevets Quartet from St. Petersburg, Russia

Our final concert of the season will be an unusual joint venture with our special guests The Konevets Quartet from St. Petersburg, Russia. This world renowned male vocal ensemble will join us in a program of Russian folk and sacred selections, including thrilling choruses from Rachmaninoff's Liturgy of St. John Chrysostem. This will be a not to be missed feast from one of the greatest choral traditions in the world.
